Tesla is drip-feeding us more and more information about the upcoming Model 3, with reservations being made on the 31st March. But what do we really know about the upcoming EV?
So far not much…
- Reservation deposit price is $1,000 (or £1000 in Britain)
- Model S and X owners get first reservations
- Production is scheduled to begin in late 2017
- Deliveries in North America starting on the West Coast, moving east
- After production ramps up, deliveries will start in Europe, APAC and right-hand drive markets
What we think we know…
- Projected 200 mile range
- Price between £30-50k depending on extras
- 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds
- It’ll be smaller than the Model S
What we want to know…
- Looks! Does it maintain the styling and detailing of the Model S and X?
- Will it come with Insane Mode?
- If I purchase a Model S, 3 and X, will I be getting more S3X? Or do I need to wait for the Model Y to come out and become more S3XY?
We’re hoping that all of the above will be revealed on the 31st March when the unveiling happens live on the Tesla website. We’ll be sure to keep you updated.
Will you be putting your deposit down?
