Although the electric car world is still in its relative infancy, we’re still secretly disappointed not to have spotted more modified examples of EVs on our travels.
Sure, we’ve stumbled upon the likes of Jonny Smith’s firework-up-the-backside Flux Capacitor and even a stretched Model S, but we’re still a very long way away from car personalisation on the level we’re used to with regular whips.
Thankfully, Vossen is attempting to change this, with these two urban cats; modified versions of arguably the sexiest hybrid so far – the BMW i8 – complete with the firm’s Precision Series forged rims sitting pretty on each corner.
Both mildly dropped on H&R springs, and looking infinitely better for it, the white beast is rocking some striking red VPS-304s, while the black offering is sports VPS-301 hoops. Both sets weigh in at a monstrous 22″ in diameter.
The only question we need to ask before you sit back and gawp at the incredible images is: why has no one done this before?!
